About Us
Our Story
AKCON, LLC was founded in McAllen, TX to bring GC-level insight directly to trade execution. Our ownership team combines 35+ years of general-contractor-side construction experience, and we're a certified HUB (Historically Underutilized Business), WBENC-certified Women's Business Enterprise, and SBA-certified Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB). Today AKCON self-performs interior trade work and provides construction management support for commercial, institutional, and public-sector clients across the Rio Grande Valley and South Texas.
Leadership
AKCON's leadership brings 35+ years of combined general-contractor-side construction experience to every engagement. That background informs our approach to scheduling, budgeting, and client communication, giving clients a dependable partner from project kickoff through final walkthrough.

AKCON is a certified HUB (Historically Underutilized Business), a WBENC-certified Women's Business Enterprise, and an SBA-certified Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB). We're proud to bring that certified status to our commercial, institutional, and public-sector clients across South Texas.
